Book Synopsis from Amazon
Kathrine Lee has an amazing ability to cheer people on to become who God designed them to be by communicating life-changing stories wrapped in God’s truth.—Lysa TerKeurst, President of Proverbs 31 Ministries and New York Times best-selling author
The world can be full of challenges. Often, we must fight to see the good in the world. Kathrine Lee refuses to give up the fight. She believes there is good in the world, despite the pain and challenges we face. Learn how she found the spiritual strength and courage to stand up to disappointments and pain and find her path forward. A path that leads to joy, hope, and adventure.
Lee left the church at a young age and wandered through dark valleys until she found her way back to the light. Once there, she became a passionate crusader for love and justice.
In Interrupted, Lee discusses how she made the decisions that have given her such a fulfilling, satisfying spiritual and emotional existence. She shares her concern for anyone—but especially women—who has not felt the transformative power of God’s grace. As Lee writes, that pain can be turned into an amazing purpose!
Proceeds from the book will help us continue our work with Pure Hope Foundation, our nonprofit that assists in the restoration of those victimized by sex trafficking.

I have almost finished Interrupted and I feel like I should wait to give my review but my heart and god told me to type it out now.
I was lost in many ways (still are in a few) But after this AMAZING book was gifted to me, I have found my way back to god and back to loving my self. I have let my personal life interruptions get me down and fill my heart with regret and guilt. I was telling my self I was not enough and that being unable to finish a project made me somehow less of a human and less worthy of gods love… JUST NUTS! I see now that god has always been guiding me to help help other and most of the time that meant leaving a project to be unfinished or forgotten. I am slowly rising above the guilt and healing the rip between my heart and my faith.
What Kathrine does is inspiring, beautiful and most definitely the lords work. In a world full of wolves I thank the lord for giving us a warrior of her strength and caliper. In conclusion I 100% recommend this book!

I love reading but, as I’ve gotten older, I sometimes struggle with reading before bedtime because, well, I’m tired. Last night, I started, and finished, reading a book so full of hope, “pure hope” I will say, that I couldn’t put it down. Yes, it helped a bit that I know the author, Kathrine Lee, and that I’m blessed and honored to call her friend and also client, since I developed, maintain, and host this website, for her. It helped that I’ve heard much, though certainly not all (as I learned) of her story from hearing a condensed version several times. It helped that I know her heart and passion for and ministry to girls and women rescued from sex trafficking through the organization she and her husband, Michael, founded, Pure Hope Foundation. Yes, having a relationship with her already certainly made me more interested in reading her book. But what kept me reading was the hope. Even through the times that didn’t make sense. The hope when there was doubt. The hope that comes from seeking God first and trusting Him even when you can’t see how it all connects. The hope that was evident throughout the many moments of divine coincidence, divine interruption. I highly recommend reading this book. Maybe you’ll find your own hope that you thought was lost. Maybe God will use it to interrupt your path and your plans and help you see where he’s really leading you. That’s my prayer for you.
